About: In October 2022, Tayla proudly became a fully admitted Solicitor after completing her Bachelor of Laws at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

Throughout her tenure at university Tayla gave back to the community as a volunteer at the Sunshine Coast Community Legal Centre as well as being employed as a Conveyancer.

Over the course of six years as a Conveyancer, she gained knowledge on all areas of Property Law including residential, commercial, and off-the-plan conveyancing, alongside specialized knowledge in matters relating to retirement village leasing and marina sub-leasing.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Laws (University of the Sunshine Coast), Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (College of Law). Admitted in 2022 to practice as Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.

Why did you choose to practice law? Since childhood Tayla had a desire to advocate for justice and assist others which drew her to a career in law. Making choices that reflect her values of kindness and honesty has always been important to Tayla and a career where she can focus on clients and effecting meaningful change in their lives and businesses was the perfect fit. The ability to offer counsel and assistance during pivotal moments, while advocating for the rights of others, ignites an enduring passion for the legal profession.

Secret skill: Tayla has a photographic memory which is extremely useful with her work. She’s also highly organised and really enjoys writing and formulating arguments.

Hobbies: Tayla enjoys surfing, reading, riding her bike to the beach, and relishing quality time with family and friends.
