About: Mahoney was raised on the Sunshine Coast and has spent most of her life living and working in the local community. She has 25 years of legal practice in many areas of law, with a specialty in Wills and Estate Law.
Mahoney’s focus is on providing expert and practical advice and solutions to clients to achieve their best outcomes in a timely and no-nonsense manner.
Place of birth: Mahoney was born in Wagga, NSW and migrated to the Sunshine Coast when she was a child where she attended Tewantin State School and Noosa High.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Laws (Hons); admitted in 1997 to Practice as Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.

Why did you choose to practice law? Mahoney’s own curiosity and a desire to help others is the driving force behind her decision to become a lawyer. The practice of law is ever-changing; it is a broad, complex area which is constantly subject to new interpretation and legislation. This means every day presents challenges, and with those challenges are opportunities and she enjoys both!
Legal specialty: All things wills and estates – planning, administration, and litigation.
Secret skill: Mahoney is a polyglot and she is proud of her ability to decipher, and communicate, confusing legal terms and concepts into a language clients understand ensuring clients are properly informed, supported and listened to.
Hobbies: Family fun, camping and boating.
