About: John Kruger is one of the most respected and experienced legal practitioners in South East Queensland, he has been in private practice since 1st July 1979, and from 1980, he has been practicing on the Sunshine Coast. John is proud to join Thompson Legal as a specialist consultant to service past and new clients and also help guide the next generation of legal practitioners. 

Family is everything to John, he has been married for over over 40 years to his beautiful wife Jane who recently underwent a lung transplant. Together they have three adult children along with their partners and two grandchildren. Over the years John has worked with many important local organisations serving in roles such as Director of the Buderim Foundation, management committee for the 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon, area chairman of HIA and Vice President of the Maroochydore Chamber of Commerce during its formative years.

Why did you choose to practice law? John admits he is highly competitive by nature, and using his energy to help other people achieve their own goals has not only become a win for his clients but also a win for John.
